Eating Vegan – Prezzo

Must Try Recipes

Prezzo could be my most-visited restaurant (simply because the almost weekly Nandos addiction is over!), mainly because it is so close to where I work, and there are always a few options for vegans!

Check out the items below that are suitable for vegans:

    • I have asked, and they said the base is vegan, but appears to contain milk on the allergen list because they are taking into account the finished pizza, i.e. with the cheese on top.

  1. the pimms lemonade sorbet is now discontinued according to the waiter so I ordered the blood orange sorbet which is vegan because the waiter checked it tastes scrumptious!

  2. I had an awful time recently in Prezzo – I always check what places fry the chips in and the waitress checked and told me they are in the same fryer as meat!
They then put pesto (non vegan) on the vegan sharing board.
By this time I had started to doubt everything – do they griddle the bread on a meat griddle?

I did contact them and they said that this was not common practice across all of there stores (one is enough!!!)

Not sure I would go back despite being emailed a voucher

  3. The pizza bases are NOT vegan they contain whey powder which is MILK they tweet out that they are vegan and then i spoke to a chef at the restaurant and he confirmed they were not vegan
